After weeks of scouring the internet and setting up email alerts left, right and centre, I've finally managed to get my hands on the latest must have gadget - a Nintendo Wii.

Having reserved it on line Thursday, I picked it up last night on the way home and quite predictably had to set it up and "test it" before I went out for the evening. Although I've never been tempted to buy a games console before, this one really does live up to the hype and the interactivity does make it much more fun than just sat in front of the telly twitching your thumbs.

So, if you'll excuse me, I'm off now for a round of golf...
